There are people who love to work on their own tools. I completely understand. This is why we sell parts and give our free tips and advice.

We sell genuine Ingersoll Rand replacement parts and generic parts from various sources. Not all 2135TI parts have a generic option. If you order genuine IR parts, that’s what you’ll get. If you order generic parts you can be assured we have tested them out and will guarantee them to be of the highest quality. You will not be disappointed and we invite you to test us on this.

Be careful in putting this tool back together and remember to be safe. Make sure all clips and retainers are in place and make sure all fasteners are tight. Safety glasses, gloves and good sense is required. It may be a good idea to reduce air pressure before you reconnect the air hose to the tool just to minimize anything blowing loose. Increase the air pressure back up after you’re convinced everything is o.k.

There is a down side to repairing it yourself. The main issue is time. Usually you’ll need to tear down to determine what parts you require. Although we have all the parts you’ll still have to wait for shipment to get the tool back in service. If you don’t have experience working on this tool you could have a little trouble getting it together correctly. Sometimes it may not perform like you expect and you may need to tear down again and reassemble. Also, it’s unlikely you have a test system in place to check RPM and torque. It may not be performing as well as it should.

As, always, feel free to contact us with questions and we’ll help any way we can. Good luck.
